Looking at paintings – Fukami – is a project developed by IRIS-CCS (Initiative de Recherches Interdisciplinaires – Création, Cognition, Société) of PSL Research University, EHESS and its Centre de Recherche sur les Arts et langage (CRAL) and the Centre de Recherche et de Restauration des Musées de France (C2RMF). This film was recorded at “FUKAMI une plongée dans l’esthétique japonaise” exhibition, in 2018 in Paris. It presents how people look at artworks and behave in exhibitions wearing eye-tracking glasses. Film direction: Pablo Fontoura. Project directors: Jean-Marie Schaeffer and Michel Menu.
